Summary: Strings start hitting the fingerboard
Comment: I own this guitar for 1 year and 3 months. Bought the package from Amazon. At the beginning, everything is fine, the guitar is good, and the amp also works well. After about 6 months, the third string start hitting the fingerboard when I play it on the first fret. That's fine to me, it is just some little extra noise.
I usually practice scales on high frets. This morning, I wanted to play C major to see how it's nodes fit in the major scale, and I just found out that all 6 strings would hit the fingerboard on the first fret. It's not just a noise this time. If I play the strings, all I hear is the sound of a metal string hitting on another metal. I won't call it music.
Also, I cannot find Baja's website or any information about them. I'll just keep it like that and stick with my scale practice in high fret.
For those who consider this one, even for a beginner, I don't recommend it.

Summary: Great Guitar! Great Value!
Comment: I have been very pleasantly pleased with this guitar. It stays in tune and sounds very good for the price. This is a very good entry level guitar as well as a nice practice guitar for a more advanced player. The finish is very nice as well as the neck, frets and headstock. Truly a nice guitar especially when you consider all the extras included: amp, strap,gig bag etc. You would be hard pressed to find a guitar of this quality at this price anywhere.

Summary: The perfect guitar for beginners
Comment: This is a stratocaster clone essentially ; For the price it's
really worth it. The neck didn't "dent easily" nor did the tremelo
bar "snap". It's obvious that these things would happen if the guitar
were intentionally abused. As far as I'm concerned, this is a great
beginner's guitar. Once you've mastered it, go on to a Dean Dime Bag
Lightening pack from [...] or a Fender stratocaster starter
pack availible on this website.
Yes, this site DOES carry Fender products. You just gotta look.
Footnote : Get yourself a digital electric tuner & use the pitch pipe
that come's with the pack as a backup. Also get a book on guitar basics
from this site. Rock on.

Summary: Female Playing guitar
Comment: I'm 21 female and wanted to learn the electric guitar. This is my very first guitar and i think it was great and very worth the price. In someone else comment on this item they said there's supose to be a book to come with and there is on the actual CD it has a web site for you to go to and down load the book for FREE. This is agreat price for all that it includes. The instructions on the cd are fantastic. I was exspecting to be disappointed but im very pleased with the quality of the starter pack. Yes it might be made cheap but if you take care of it like you should then you'll be just fine and if its your very first guitar its better to get a cheap one first to make sure your gonna still be intrested in playing down the road you don't want to waste alot of money on something you might get frustrated with and not want to play any more.

Summary: Worst birthday gift ever
Comment: I got this guitar pack from my parents for my birthday. It was lame. I told them to get a Fender Standard Series Stratocaster and a matching Fender amp but they said that it was too expensive. They got what they paid for. $84 for a guitar alone usually signals junk, but for a complete package? Firewood.
The guitar's neck dented easily, and the tremolo bar snapped. The amp started buzzing shortly afterwards. We returned it.
Oddly enough, this site sells Gibson, Epiphone, BC Rich, and Schecter instruments, but no Fender or Squier instruments, only one Ibanez, and only the low-to-middle-end Jacksons.
