Summary: RATING SOMETHING BEFORE ITS RELEASED
Comment: This is for all the people rating 1 star because of the price or whatnot.

Summary: blu-ray rip off
Comment: There is no question this release in Blu-ray will be a knock out. But the price shown at Amazon is obscene. It's about the same cost as all three Lord of the Rings coming in Blu-ray. Why isn't there a "movie only" release for a budget price for budget times?

Summary: Hope they dont just rehash other dvd material on Blu Ray
Comment: Well the time has come for MGM/Warner Brothers to release Thw fabulous Wizard Of Oz on Blu Ray.Well unfortunately The blu Ray discs were suppose to be the ultimate in DVD Entertianment but what has happened is in there want and greed for money the studios are just reproducing movies on Blu Ray and not taking the time to place all the extras on the disc that they now have the room for.Blu Ray has 7 times the amount of space as a reg dvd so that means a reg dvd is 2 hours you have 14 hours availible on Blu Ray but no the studios dont care about this. The blu Ray discs are very hard to manuver and just to load the disc it takes so much time.Blu Ray was suppose to be easier but it turns out to be harder. But back to the Wizard of Oz We have all seen the extras on the prvious versions which they will be hard pressed to improve on that set,so lets see what MGM/WB does to make a classic like this look fabulous on Blu Ray and also lets put every availible extra they have in their vaults on the Wizard of Oz on the Blu Ray version.

Summary: Classic but not amazing
Comment: Everyone should probably see this movie once, but I prefer to only see it once. The second time through I couldn't stand listening to Dorothy's obnoxious thoughts and complaints. But there are many classic lines and you really should see it if you want to appreciate Wicked, the great Broadway musical.
