Summary: Actually Pretty Good
Comment: When I bought this, I groaned a little. It seems like we have so many products for the kids already laying around the house. Barney this, Elmo that.
But my kids seem to like this group of kids, and this is basically a greatest hits album, so I thought...OK, this is different. Not a toy.
I'm finding myself humming the tunes as I do work around the house or mow the lawn. They're catchy. I'm reminded of The Archies.
I'd give it four stars, but the kids would vote for 10. So with that in mind, I have to nudge to to a five.

Comment: My son loves this CD - it has all the popular songs from the TV show Hi-5. It doesn't irritate me either so that counts for a lot coming from the parent of a child who ALWAYS wants to hear music.

Summary: Hi-5 ROCKS my Toddler!
Comment: My son is 18 months old and we discovered Hi-5 on demand about a month or so ago. Before then, he was not interested in TV at all (which I was grateful for) but I work from home some days, and this show has helped me out during those times when I really just needed 15 minutes alone to get that one task done.
I was so excited to find their CDs on Amazon, but kind of sad because apparently this show is no longer being produced. My son looks forward to going in the car now, calling out "Five! Five!" every morning as we head out. He bounces around and claps and dances to the upbeat songs, and best of all, they are not annoying like many of their contemporaries out there. The songs are short and funny, and always upbeat. You can really tell that the writers of Hi-5 work very hard to be a positive role-model for children. It truly shows. I would recommend this CD to any parent of a young child who loves music. It isn't necessary to be familiar with the show to enjoy it. Fair warning though, be prepared to find yourself humming "Living in a Rainbow" during that 4AM diaper change!

Summary: Must have CD for Great Kids Music
Comment: My kids love, love, love, this CD. I keep it in the car and everytime we go someplace, they have to listen to this CD. My 15 month old gets a great big smile on his face every time it starts to play and my 2 1/2 year old sings the songs. Great for long road trips!

Comment: You will get tired of hearing this over and over again because your child will love it. It doesn't have "you are wonderful" on it :( and some other good songs but most are on there. Great CD.

"Jump and Jive with Hi-5" is the first CD release by the five talented young adults who make up Hi-5. They already have a hit Kids TV show and this is the first album release and includes Karaoke versions so kids can sing along.
