Customer Rating: Summary: The best of Enya Comment: It really is the best of Enya. There are a few songs not on this CD that I still regard highly as "Enya's Best", but all of the songs here are "greats" in my my book (of days? lol)
This CD will not be under-appreciated in anyone's collection.
Customer Rating: Summary: paint the sky Comment: The CD was exactly what I wanted. It came in a minimal amount of time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Beautiful Music Comment: This CD is classic, beautiful, totally enchanting Enya. Whether you are a fan or a newby to her hauntingly celtic melodic style you will find this CD elevating and inspiring. A must for listening to on rainy days in front of a fireplace.
Customer Rating: Summary: Got wrong CD content Comment: I purchased 3 different CDs in the same time with different person. I got other 2 CDs in a few days, and when I got this CD it was like 10 days behind. Once I received this CD ,it was wrong CD content. Then I have to e-mail and waiting for the right CD which after Thanskgiving I received it. And mailed the wrong one to him.
It was a long process and I hope seller learned from this experience.
Customer Rating: Summary: My baby's favourite! Comment: Ever since Zeppelin was a colicky infant, I've been playing this album at his bedtime. Now, at 18 months, he's usually asleep halfway through the second song. Then I get to enjoy the rest of the album in peace. Also excellent for slow, sensual belly-dance music.

New Age diva Enya first became widely known when her 1988 album Watermark sold 4 million copies and launched the single "Orinoco Flow." Her follow-up, Shepherd Moons, was even more successful, selling over 10 million copies despite its slightly lower grade of ethereal enchantment. In 1997 she released Paint the Sky with Stars, an assortment of her best work from these two early albums plus gems from 1995's The Memory of Trees and the soundtrack to the BBC series The Celts. The most melodic and atmospheric examples of Enya's lovely Celtic-flavored songwriting shine on this disc. Those unfamiliar with the former Clannad member will find charm in such sweet lullabies as "Marble Halls" and "China Roses" while delighting in the more energetic "Book of Days," "Storms in Africa," and "Caribbean Blue." Overall, an outstanding collection from an artist who gives New Age a good name. --Karen Karleski
